Our wedding is coming together because a lot of really brilliant people helped with it. A humongous thank you to our parents and bridal party for all your work on our wedding! You'll hear much more about that in the speeches.
Should you be looking for any vendors, or just want to know who to credit for different things at our wedding, here's a list of all the vendors:
Wedding Planning Jennie from Beautiful Day Planning has been an absolute dream to work with. We cannot recommend her enough. She executes your vision, is incredibly detail oriented, and is an expert in the Metro Detroit wedding business. Thank you so much for all your hard work, Jennie!
Photography The amazingly talented Adrienne from Weddings by Adrienne and Amber is a godsend. She makes what could be awkward picture taking not awkward, but instead a really laid-back and fun. And, then more importantly, Adrienne makes you look really, really good. (Check out our photo page for evidence! All of the photos except for the first few from our engagement are taken by Adrienne.) We appreciate your work so much, Adrienne!
Flowers Mary from Dynamic Flowers is an absolute genius. We've already been blown away when we worked with her to design a prototype for our centerpieces. Instead of just asking about color and flower preferences, she asked us questions about our love story and how we wanted to celebrate it in our wedding. What resulted is pure art and perfectly captured the kind of energy we wanted share with you all. She brings to life the vision you didn't know you had until you see it. We can't wait to see the brilliance that she puts together for our celebration. If you ever need a florist, use her! Thank you, Mary!
Music Derek and the rest of the Dan Rafferty Band team has been a joy to work with, and we cannot wait to hear the Dan Rafferty Band perform at the wedding. They work with you to make the music be reflective of the tastes you have in music and are anything but the cookie cutter wedding band. We're grateful to be having you play at our wedding!
Interactive Calligraphy (Favors) Shout to my mama for finding this gem of a human, Elana Hopman. My mom met Elana at an event in metro-Detroit, where Elana was doing interactive calligraphy as owner of Annabel Reese. We all know that Jacki's an English nerd, so Elana will be creating personalized ornaments that you get to design to take home. If you need a calligrapher - or want to do an interactive calligraphy event like we did - contact her. She's talented, easy to work with, and you get to support a female-owned small business. WINNING!
Videography At the beginning of our wedding planning, we weren't even sure if we wanted to do a wedding video, but after watching some samples of Heart + Soul, we were hooked. This company creates creative wedding videos with engaging narrative structures, reflecting not only the wedding day but the couple's relationship. We cannot wait to see what they create for us.
Lighting and Dance Floor Brett was a DJ in college, and he loves the EDM scene. He worked with Pegasus to create his dream wedding. Oh wait, I mean our dream wedding. Right, Brett?! :) Photobooth Get ready for some lovely souveniers that capture your joy! Shutterbooth is showing up for the photo booth.
